How to reclaim six storeys of space under this office tower’s overhanging upper floors was the challenge faced in this renovation.

The original lobby was very small, tucked into the space inside the building’s central core. New full-height glass at the perimeter created a bright, voluminous space that may have proved overwhelming. However, it’s successfully brought back to human scale with unusual focal points such as an intricately-patterned granite floor, a back-lit art glass feature and a spectacular saltwater aquarium.
