This hotel, currently under construction in Pittsburgh’s East Liberty neighborhood, is being built as part of the re-development of the former Governor’s Hotel site. The existing hotel, along with another older brick building on the site, will be expanded and revived to be a larger, new hotel complex with the Indigo Brand.

Included in the interior design package is a grand lobby, multiple lounge areas, a business area, meeting facilities, guestrooms and guest suites. Attention to historic and architectural vernacular will intertwine with organic and contemporary forms which feature strongly in the Indigo Brand. Playing with modern and traditional materials in interesting ways will provide whimsy and interest. Bold colors found throughout nature, and bold graphics of local architectural details will live harmoniously in what will surely be the neighborhood’s anchor for revitalization.
