With today's hotel guests, expectations of a 4-star hotel, the Westin Bayshore required the redesign and enhancement of its existing pool and change facilities to create a unique fitness spa experience. By relocating the reception area, a dramatic entry was created showcasing fresh materials, colours and innovative lighting to enhance the water and spa themes. The fitness area was also relocated adjacent to the pool but enclosed by an art glass wall, which provided access to views and natural light while creating acoustic privacy from pool activities. Expansion of change facilities enabled the addition of a steam room and treatment rooms to round out the spa experience.
