Crystal Decisions began in Vancouver and is now one of the world’s leading providers of software programs that help organizations manage information effectively. Headquarters is in Palo Alto California but the Vancouver operation is the largest unit in the company and it is where the CEO is based.

MCM Interiors was commissioned to provide Crystal with 44,000 sf of newly developed space for its Customer Presentation and Conference Centre facilities — a work environment for up to 300 people. The results feature contemporary office systems, strong colour, extensive cross functional meeting spaces including both conventional meeting rooms and more informal ones featuring lounge seating, and amenities such as a food preparation area and games room.

This project demonstrates MCM’s evolving leadership in the design of contemporary workspace for successful new companies who value their employees very highly and look to the quality of the work environment to aid in recruitment and retention.
