The realization of this dream will have an extraordinary impact on the community of people living with spinal cord injury across this country today, and those who will be injured in the future,” Rick Hansen, President and CEO of the Rick Hansen Foundation

Opened in November 2008, the ICORD at Vancouver General Hospital is the most advanced integrated research and treatment centre for spinal cord injuries in the world.
