AI-Dubrulle challenged MCM Interiors with an ambitious request: design a high-level culinary school for a full-floor space in a downtown Vancouver office tower. To achieve this, MCM headed a team of consultants (interor design, mechanical, electrical, structural, kitchen, fire suppression) which demanded intense coordination in the planning, drawing and on-site phases.

The project includes four large training kitchens, lecture spaces, a student lounge, adminstration offices and a special wine tasting lab. A satellite dining lab was built directly adjacent to the office tower’s main floor lobby on Vancouver’s busy Granville Mall. Passersby can visit this high-visibility lab to sample creations by the culinary school’s students in a sleek restaurant-style setting.
